Women's Ministries
Our District Womens Ministries is designed to support and encourage women as they fill their various roles; to reach out to the community; to minister to those in the church; and to offer opportunities for spiritual and relational growth.
Womens Ministry is an arm of the church that allows women to meet the needs of other women, a place where love is offered under every circumstance, acceptance granted without reservation and where forgiveness is given for the asking. Without these key elements growth is difficult to achieve. God demands our best efforts, regardless of church size or assigned task.

Hello! I am the new director of Women’s Ministries for the Southern California District. I am happily married to my husband, Skip, whom I adore and enjoy ministering with. We have two adult children and three grandchildren whom we enjoy very much. I was a high school teacher for a number of years, a business manager, and then on staff at Mission Church in San Diego. God called me to full-time ministry and I went back to school, received a Master of Ministry in 2009, and was ordained in 2011. My encouragement to you is to be all God has called you to be, regardless of your gender, race, age, or background. God has some exciting things in store for us! As the committee continues to be dedicated through prayer for each woman in our district, we want to encourage you to be strengthened by the love of God and reach out and share this love with others. Mentor someone in your midst. One of my treasured verses is Prov. 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” This is my prayer for each of us – to lean on Him so that He can direct our paths.
